How do I get Copilot off my Android phone?

Same here! I HATE gd Copilot!! I'm trying to do things in an app ( one where team members have to be in communication constantly in case of youth issues), and every time I try to open a message or link freaking Copliot slows me down. Hate it, hate it, hate it!

As a Microsoft Technical Advisor I apologise for any issues Copilot may be causing on your android and below will list some solutions which should possibly help solve this issue.

1)Delete your copilot from Microsoft 365 and send a direct deletion request to Microsoft to do this follow the steps below;

1.1) Sign into your my account portal with your work or school account at https://myaccount.microsoft.com/ 1.2) Navigate to settings and privacy -> Privacy -> 1.3) Under the 'Data options' navigate to copilot interaction history and select 'Delete'

If this solution doesn't solve it, 2)Check Admin Settings; 2.1)On your android go to settings 2,2)Look for "Security" or "Lock screen and security" options. 2.3)Find and tap on "Device administrators" or a similar option. 2.4) Check if Copilot or any related Microsoft services are listed here with admin privileges, and uncheck the box next to copilot to revoke it's permissions

Alternatively also filter the settings search bar to 'Permissions' and this should hopefully filter to the apps that have admin permissions which Copilot seems to have.

3. Go to settings -> General-> Try to find CoPilot and remove all the relevant options to disable it.

This is absurd. It can be turned off on desktop Windows but to do it on a phone requires a degree in Computers. I dont use excel or word Office on my phone so I'm going to uninstall 365 and get an alternative email client.

Good job Microsoft. You've managed to piss people off to the point where they dont want your products. because you forced an addon on them and it made the main product less productive (Microsoft Products have generally been getting less user friendly and productive over the past several years).

As for Microsoft advertising this as free, thats complete BS. Microsoft automatically changes your subscription to a more expensive one and charges you extra at the next subscription date. You have to go into your account and change it back to the non copilot version. To advertise this as free is illegal in Australia. Its called Bait and Switch and it is the sort of thing that conmen do. ASIC and Fair Trading should be taking Microsoft to court for false advertising. No-one else gets away with behaving like scam artists.

I think this should be referred to the Australian authorities so that Microsoft understands it is not above the law.
