How do I get Copilot off my Android phone?

I agree. MS modified my phone with out my consent. Added useless Copilot and removed features I have been working with and liked. Couldn't get rid of Copilot until I removed MS launcher and MS 365 app from my phone. If I need an office app I Launch it individually.

MS doesn't pay attention to the user and then they wonder why W10 is more popular then W11.

Eventually I will replace all my Win devices with Android.

WELL I JUST UNINSTALLED THE MS 365 APP LETS SEE WHAT HAPPENS

It is easy, try uninstalling microsoft 365 and copilot. And if you are on samsung, clear storage on appcloud and disable it.

I just figured out how to remove the M365 Copilot annoying sign-up App from my Android phone. All of a sudden now, every time I tried to open a text file on my phone with any kind of extension, it would go straight to sign in page of M365 Copilot. I couldn't even choose what app I wanted to use to open the file, so I couldn't open my file, no matter what, unless I signed-up with this app, and I DON'T WANT TO.

Microsoft held me hostage to my options. Finally I found a way to get rid of this parasitical program/app and it's insisting spam. I must say as many here stated. This is pure hostile spam and criminal behavior to push their product like this and force people to use it without clear and easy options to make it disappear from their phone.

TO REMOVE M365 COPILOT FROM YOUR ANDROID PHONE:

Settings / Apps / Your Apps (in small print) filter on the right side / Show System Apps (slide switch ON) / OK / scroll down to M365 COPILOT / scroll down to App details in store / (this will open Google Play store) UNINSTALL.

Another way to do it is:

Go to the Google App Store, search M365 COPILOT and UNINSTALL

Then, take a deep breath and ENJOY your victory!

I have to print that out and jump through the hoops to get rid of something I never wanted!

I didn't want Gen AI forced upon me. I shouldn't have to jump through all these hoops to say "I don't want to be involved with stolen information." It's not even good.

My next computer will be Linux based. I think, after what, newrly 40 years, it's time to finally divorce from Microsoft. And my Android needs an exorcism after this.

Hello there, As a Microsoft Technical Advisor I apologise for any issues Copilot may be causing on your android and below will list some solutions which should possibly help solve this issue. 1)Delete your copilot from Microsoft 365 and send a direct deletion request to Microsoft to do this follow the steps below; 1.1) Sign into your my account portal with your work or school account at https://myaccount.microsoft.com/ 1.2) Navigate to settings and privacy -> Privacy -> 1.3) Under the 'Data options' navigate to copilot interaction history and select 'Delete' These steps was referenced from the following source and for further clarification on this visit: https://support.microsoft.com/office/76de8afa-5eaf-43b0-bda8-0076d6e0390f If this solution doesn't solve it, 2)Check Admin Settings; 2.1)On your android go to settings 2,2)Look for "Security" or "Lock screen and security" options. 2.3)Find and tap on "Device administrators" or a similar option. 2.4) Check if Copilot or any related Microsoft services are listed here with admin privileges, and uncheck the box next to copilot to revoke it's permissions Alternatively also filter the settings search bar to 'Permissions' and this should hopefully filter to the apps that have admin permissions which Copilot seems to have. 3) Go to settings -> General-> Try to find CoPilot and remove all the relevant options to disable it.
