OneNote "Email Page" function not working with new Outlook

I conducted a meeting yesterday and sent out my notes with the Email Page function in OneNote.

This morning, I looked through my sent emails in the New Outlook and couldn't find the sent notes anywhere. Additionally, I didn't have them in my inbox either, which I would have expected since I was also an attendee.

Resent them this morning, thinking I must have forgotten to send them, but realized that the email window that opens when I click "Email Page" is from the old outlook. Opened the old outlook, and it instantly sent both my notes from yesterday AND my resent notes.

So basically, if you don't leave the old Outlook open, it seems you can't expect OneNote to actually email out your pages, even if you clicked send. The old outlook has to be opened up for the send to actually happen.

This needs to be fixed quickly. Believing that you sent something that never went out is a good way to set people up for failure.
