Microsoft reported on February 29th that the connection issue for MS 365 using Exchange ActiveSync had been resolved.
I then changed my settings to allow for updates as I too had lost my Exchange connection. The update installed was 2402 (Build 17328.20162).
The update however, has now created an issue with the MS 365 calendar not syncing with my iPhone and Webmail. This only occurs when I'm using the MS 365 calendar on my laptop to add or change an event. The entry or change does not show up on my iPhone or webmail. However, when I use my iPhone calendar or Webmail calendar to create an event or change an event, it does show up in the MS 365 calendar on my laptop? Go figure.
I have deleted and set up my account on my iPhone. I have uninstalled MS 365 and reinstalled from my MS Account. The version reinstalled is 2401 (Build 17231.20236). No change.
I use Shaw/Rogers as my email provider.

No, there is not. Sorry. Outlook format doesn't support add-ins.
(sigh) Us mortals seldom have the big picture and even less seldom do we have the crystal ball to predict when/if something is going to be fixed/broken. In fact, I'm not sure I want to peer into a palantir because without a "big picture", what I would learn might be taken out of context and be more harmful than not knowing anything....
My tidbit of rumor/knowledge about why Outlook stopped accepting "syncs" from other calendars was because of "security". If other external software is allowed to automagically modify a calendar, that means the other software might have unauthorized access to your calendar and depending on the host system, that may be a possible "hole" in privacy policies for your corporate IT. To leave a "hole" open by default is usually not accepted by enterprise IT folks.
If my tidbit is true, once again, hackers and security policies to thwart them, have caused software that was once easy and intuitive to become awkward and obtuse in order to keep hackers out of my stuff. Thus what used to be a simple login has become a rotating complex 12 character password with MFA and a CAPTCHA picture quiz which can take almost as long as what you wanted to log in for.

I replaced my laptop with a MacBook Pro and then downloaded my Microsoft 365 subscription as this software offers many great tools. Outlook is a bit different, (called Legacy) but looks like it will work for my needs.
This is what was installed for Outlook - Microsoft® Outlook for Mac 16.92 (24120731).
I'm only able to connect Outlook vis IMAP on the MacBook so only get emails.
I have Outlook connected with IMAP on my PC and then sync calendars, contacts and tasks using CALDAV. It actually works quite well. CALDAV does not support IOS.
Question. Do you know if there is a sync plugin out there that works with Apple IOS so I'm able to sync calendars, contacts and tasks.

They've had a broken interface where calendar events create in iOS don't allow the iOS calendar aler to populate to Outlook, so you'll get no alert from Outlook. This has been nroken since December 2024 and they've done absolutely nothing to fix it. Still doesn't work. Worked for 15 years, but not since December. Lots of complaints about this. I've posted about this several times but never had any help from MS.
Personally, I think it's was intentional by Microsoft to force iOS users to switch to MS products/Outlook since those of us who have iPhones generally prefer the iOS interface for Email, Contacts, and Calendar becuase it is so much more efficient ... and Calendar alerts actually work. MS doesn't even allow drag/drop and move within their Calendar ... have to open, then edit, then move, then save ... typical MS inefficiency. Have any MS coders ever used an iPhone? ... doubtful or they would just copy what Apple has already done because it is so much more elegant and efficient for users.
IMO it is doubtful MS will ever fix tthe Calendar alert sync from iOS. Why would they?
