Microsoft 365 Calendar Won't Sync with iPhone or Webmail

Microsoft reported on February 29th that the connection issue for MS 365 using Exchange ActiveSync had been resolved.

I then changed my settings to allow for updates as I too had lost my Exchange connection. The update installed was 2402 (Build 17328.20162).

The update however, has now created an issue with the MS 365 calendar not syncing with my iPhone and Webmail. This only occurs when I'm using the MS 365 calendar on my laptop to add or change an event. The entry or change does not show up on my iPhone or webmail. However, when I use my iPhone calendar or Webmail calendar to create an event or change an event, it does show up in the MS 365 calendar on my laptop? Go figure.

I have deleted and set up my account on my iPhone. I have uninstalled MS 365 and reinstalled from my MS Account. The version reinstalled is 2401 (Build 17231.20236). No change.

I use Shaw/Rogers as my email provider.

Please help.

Thanks

Barry

I have not used the one called CalDav in many, many years - but have used gsyncit*, which uses caldav. You need the url and your username and password. It should sync with the Outlook calendar of your choice.

    * not against Shaw, but with other caldav servers - and gmail, icloud, and yahoo.

    Good morning Dianne,

While you are following up with your contacts, a question. Do you have any experience with the CalDav synchronization tool. I noted in a previous post relating to the issue with MS 365 (Outlook), a customer/user switched back to IMAP and now uses CalDav to sync his calendar and contacts. SHAW/ROGERS webmail provides the link to use this method.

    Would appreciate your feedback.

    Thanks
