Microsoft 365 Calendar Won't Sync with iPhone or Webmail

Microsoft reported on February 29th that the connection issue for MS 365 using Exchange ActiveSync had been resolved.

I then changed my settings to allow for updates as I too had lost my Exchange connection. The update installed was 2402 (Build 17328.20162).

The update however, has now created an issue with the MS 365 calendar not syncing with my iPhone and Webmail. This only occurs when I'm using the MS 365 calendar on my laptop to add or change an event. The entry or change does not show up on my iPhone or webmail. However, when I use my iPhone calendar or Webmail calendar to create an event or change an event, it does show up in the MS 365 calendar on my laptop? Go figure.

I have deleted and set up my account on my iPhone. I have uninstalled MS 365 and reinstalled from my MS Account. The version reinstalled is 2401 (Build 17231.20236). No change.

I use Shaw/Rogers as my email provider.

Please help.

Thanks

Barry

    HI Jos,

I've been trying to get this issue resolved for several months. Each time I'm in communication with MS, they appear to understand the issue, say they will involve their engineers and get back to me. However, I never hear from them again. Very frustrating. I'm now in contact with their business side as I'm told these folks are the ones who manage the Exchange Active Sync for MS. Fingers crossed.

I’m having exactly the same issue. Frustrating. I’m also with Shaw in Canada. I’m rolled back to Office Build 2312 where this is not an issue.

Was this resolved? I am having the same issue and I am looking for a resolution.

    Hi Dawn,

Thanks for reaching out. This issue has become very frustrating! I contacted Microsoft yesterday and actually got to speak to a live agent. He committed to following up with their engineers and left me an email address to follow up with him in a couple of weeks. I believe he understood the issue. Time will tell?

Please send me a note in a few weeks to see if I have an update.

    Are you in Canada?

Hi, I'm Diane and I'm happy to help you today. >> I use Shaw/Rogers as my email provider. >> Added to classic Outlook as an Exchange Active Sync account, correct? The bug was fixed in fixed in Outlook Desktop Version 2402 Build 17328.20068 and higher. You have higher version, so it should be working. If you follow the instructions in this article to revert to the older build, does two-way syn c work again? https://support.microsoft.com/office/outlook-desktop-exchange-activesync-connections-stopped-working-in-version-2401-da2dc0dd-297e-48ba-b6d9-ab18f5d522fc Let me know how it goes, I'm here to help you further if needed. -- Diane

    Hi Diane,

I'm really sorry to be a pest, but I would really like to hear from you.

Are you still able to help me with the syncing issue on newer software updates?

    Please and thanks.
