Force sync in OneDrive

Is there any way of forcing OneDrive to sync? Let's say a user uploads a document on one client, and user 2 wants to access that document immediately on his client, but onedrive haven't synced that folder yet.

Is there a way to force a manual sync? Ideally with like a .bat file or something that i can pin to the taskbar that the user can just click to run just to speed up the process

    I completely agree with you. This thing is a disaster from the word go. POS. Glad I'm on a Mac. At least the iCloud synchs immediately and is available on all devices quickly.

    Neither of these solutions work.

    Solution #1 does not trigger OneDrive to begin syncing immediately - OneDrive continues to sit on all files as-is.

    Solution #2 yields the following error message: 'onedrive.exe' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

    I'll be more polite than most of the replies, but this is a worthless answer.

    Unlinking and re-linking my computer is not a solution. That might be the answer if OneDrive has stopped syncing entirely and every other option has failed. But it's not the answer to force a sync-on-demand. It would take hours for that to re-download all my files.

    And the "onedrive.exe /sync" suggestion doesn't work at all. It opens up an Explorer window to my OneDrive folder, but nothing is updated.

    Folks, I appreciate the responses to this post, but none of them address the problem when you're on an MBP running OS and having to interface via MS Office to get to One Drive. I use two MBPs, a personal and a work-supplied, and my organization's IT department has had. no luck getting the office computer to synch with One Drive in a regular or timely fashion. I've tried signing out and then back in, and that's about as helpful as a screen shot to a blind man.

    So if anyone has had the problem with a MacBookPro, I'd be interested to hear how you resolved it.
