Force sync in OneDrive

Is there any way of forcing OneDrive to sync? Let's say a user uploads a document on one client, and user 2 wants to access that document immediately on his client, but onedrive haven't synced that folder yet.

Is there a way to force a manual sync? Ideally with like a .bat file or something that i can pin to the taskbar that the user can just click to run just to speed up the process

    Yes, there is a way to force OneDrive to sync manually. Here are the steps:

    1. Right-click on the OneDrive icon in the system tray (bottom right corner of the screen).
    2. Click on "Help & Settings" and then select "Settings".
    3. In the "Account" tab, click on "Unlink this PC" and confirm the action.
    4. Sign in again with your Microsoft account and select the folders you want to sync.
    5. OneDrive will start syncing the selected folders immediately.

    Alternatively, you can also force a manual sync by following these steps:

    1. Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box.
    2. Type "cmd" and press Enter to open the Command Prompt.
    3. Type "cd %userprofile%\OneDrive" and press Enter to navigate to the OneDrive folder.
    4. Type "onedrive.exe /sync" and press Enter to force a manual sync.

    If it still take some time for the files to sync, you can upload the files directly to OneDrive, so other user who needs the file can access it right away. You just need to go to this page Sign in - Microsoft OneDrive and you will have an option to upload the file.

    [removed - COC violation] suggesting to unlink to resync because thats not whats being asked for. unlinking will undo all of onedrive then you have to resetup onedrive...so it is not the force sync that was asked for.

    Its like someone says "how do i fix word" and you suggest to format the entire PC
