Force sync in OneDrive

Is there any way of forcing OneDrive to sync? Let's say a user uploads a document on one client, and user 2 wants to access that document immediately on his client, but onedrive haven't synced that folder yet.

Is there a way to force a manual sync? Ideally with like a .bat file or something that i can pin to the taskbar that the user can just click to run just to speed up the process

The only way to manually trigger a Sync would be to either Pause the OneDrive client App, wait 2Mins then unpause. If you dont have the 2Mins then kill the process in via Task Manager then reopen the OneDrive Client App.

I tried using the CMD prompt, but there is no "onedrive.exe /sync" in the OneDrive folder or subfolders. There are no executables in the OneDrive folder/subfolders...

Yep, indeed, "/sync" is not working, but you don't have to manually pause and wait for 2 minutes to restart or kill the process via Task Manager.

There is simple and convenient way to trigger synchronization with the following batch file:

cd %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\OneDrive

OneDrive.exe /shutdown

OneDrive.exe /background

You really don't need to wait 2 mins .... just PAUSE it, wait 10secs and RESTART ... works for me every time.
