Force sync in OneDrive

Is there any way of forcing OneDrive to sync? Let's say a user uploads a document on one client, and user 2 wants to access that document immediately on his client, but onedrive haven't synced that folder yet.

Is there a way to force a manual sync? Ideally with like a .bat file or something that i can pin to the taskbar that the user can just click to run just to speed up the process

    Simply:

    1. Right-click on the OneDrive icon in the system tray (bottom right corner of the screen).
    2. Click the setting button (Gear Icon)
    3. Click Pause Syncing
    4. Select a time period. (say 2 hours)
    5. Click the Pause button that will appear

    OneDrive will begin re-syncing.

    The whole point of having a backup is to have files ready in an emergency immediately, not when Microsoft decides they will be ready.

    When you move a file from one location to another you expect it to be there.

    What is the point of paying for high speed internet only to be stopped on the server side?

    this worked. but ridiculous MS won't just add a Sync Now button that's easy to find since they won't make it just sync continuously. The only way i found other than this cumbersome hack is to completely log out of windows and log back in. Kubik's solutions is much better than that option. So thank you sir.

    The folder nhiel listed is a sync folder not where the exe is located.

    Try typing in this:

    cd C:\Program Files\Microsoft OneDrive

    then type in "onedrive.exe /sync

    if that doesn't work you need to find out where your onedrive is installed by hitting the windows key >>> type in onedrive >> select open file location >> right click on the highlighted file and select properties >> highlight everything in the target field minus the quotes then paste that after "cd" in the cmd window
