Force sync in OneDrive

I'll be more polite than most of the replies, but this is a worthless answer.

Unlinking and re-linking my computer is not a solution. That might be the answer if OneDrive has stopped syncing entirely and every other option has failed. But it's not the answer to force a sync-on-demand. It would take hours for that to re-download all my files.

And the "onedrive.exe /sync" suggestion doesn't work at all. It opens up an Explorer window to my OneDrive folder, but nothing is updated.

I don't know if this has been mentioned, but the easiest way I've found to force sync is to pic I file I know has been recently modified and right-click>version history.

Sync button is ok idea, but they don't need it, there is already F5, except it also doesn't do anything. That should force a folder to sync. If there is an authentication error as some mentioned, then they should ask for credentials. This is super simple stuff, it really shows their contempt for us.

This way worked for me! Going to write a text file in the OneDrive so I dont have to look on internet everysingle time something doesnt sync (which is almost everytime).

Found another way that involve erasing some temp files, dont remember which ones but:

Windows + R

Write: %localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\settings

Erase something there...

Thanks much. I had done this in the past (intuitively?) and then forgotten it. Worked for what I needed to do; not sure it would work for all of the other posters.
