Authenticator App on Apple Vision Pro

Are there any immediate plans to bring the Authenticator app to the Vision Pro?

I was really excited to use the Vision Pro for my office apps with a major focus on Teams. Sadly, I am unable to use Teams with my corporate ID as I am required to have the Authenticator App on the device on which I am using Teams. As a result, I am unable to use the Teams app on the Vision Pro. Given that this is pretty common for large organizations, I am really surprised Microsoft did not prioritize this app for the Vision Pro.

One would think that with so many responses coming in - someone from Microsoft would respond, but it seems its only the affected users asking for updates and no one from microsoft is the least bit bothered to even respond back.

Such a disappointing experience. Microsoft dropped the ball big time on this; the Authenticator in Testflight shows the Vision OS is listed, but a build is not available :(

I am disappointed in both Microsoft and Apple about this. I bought the AVP because it was stated in news reports (and, I believe, in the marketing material) that Microsoft 365 apps had been ported to VisionOS -- but without Microsoft Authenticator, those apps are useless for many enterprise users (and that wasn't made clear before launch).

It's now been nearly two months since the AVP was released, and three weeks since VisionOS 1.1 (purportedly enabling MDM) was released -- and I'm still looking at a very expensive device that is good for watching movies and browsing the web, but not a lot else. I have been able to use the web app versions of Outlook, Word, and Teams -- but the Teams web app says it will be discontinued imminently (and web apps are obviously limited, so this is a clunky solution at this point).

Disappointingly, I noticed that the build of Authenticator available (for iOS devices, not VisionOS devices) through TestFlight increased just yesterday from 6.8.7(6) to 6.8.7(9) just yesterday -- but even the newer 6.8.7(9) version says it's for iOS devices only.

On the other hand, when you try to authenticate a Microsoft 365 app on VisionOS, you are told that Authenticator is required and presented with a button that says something like "Get the App." As of a few days ago, when you clicked that button, you were directed to an error message. Now, when you click that button, you are directed to the Authenticator page in the App Store (which still tells you that Authenticator is for iOS devices only). I'm hoping that means that progress is being made behind the scenes. (Yes, I'm grasping at straws here.)

One more thing: To use this device most effectively for work (other than through a Mac Virtual Display), we really need VisionOS native versions of both Outlook and OneDrive. The iPadOS version of Outlook is limited (and ugly), and the iPadOS version of OneDrive is not a VisionOS compatible app.

Yeah, this is crazy. The only way I’ve be able to get it to work is to turn off App protection policies, which I don’t wanna do… there’s a reason why we have App protection policies.. come on MICROSOFT, move up your game

It is so disappointing to see that Microsoft is dragging their feet on this and unable to provide any clear guidance.

I am signed up for Beta access for the authenticator on test flight, i get the beta builds for the ipad but i dont see any option for Vision Pro, even though the Test Flight page mentions Vision Pro:

i really hope that Microsoft will enable Authenticaor app on Vision Pro asap.
