Hi everyone,
I'm confused by the fact of Onedrive's downloading speed to be very slow. I'm trying to download my video file from Onedrive and the speed is 1 MB/s only, having internet channel speed 100 mbps. Download speed from competitor's servers (Mega.nz, FREE Plan) is 10 MB/s, which utilizes my whole channel. The funny thing is that the upload speed was 10 MB/s to Onedrive's servers, but the download speed is only 1 MB/s.
I've removed any limits on download speed in Onedrive app, updated the app, changed TCP congestion protocol to BBR, but the result is the same.
Attaching here the pictures:

I'm quite aware of other complaints on Onedrive's download speed, but still hope for a resolution. I've sent my question to Onedrive's tech team, but here I'm posting to:
Onedrive app version for Windows 64: 23.246.1127.0002

To fix this just quit or pause one drive and then re-open or resume it. It immediately goes to max download speed after that(at least to me it did).
Same issue here, takes 12hrs to download 125 GB from one drive with a 1.5Gbps fiber connection, this issue doesn't occur with any other cloud solutions.
Extremely disappointing.
Microsoft trying to become a one stop shop , but seems like this is not ideal for them. They should stick to OS and WORD lol
Switching back to Dropbox as cloud storage is all they do, they have it perfected compared to OneDrive
It has nothing to do your equipment. OneDrive is incredibly slow. I have a 1 gigabit internet with 97% available download - I get 2.1 megabytes per second. download test shows 900 megabit - equals to around 90 megabytes per second. This is why its not possible get out of ONedrive when you have 400 gigabytes of data there - it will take you 6 months to download. Its a pathetic service and I am cancelling my office subscription
