I was double billed. How do I get a credit for that amount?

On March 8, 2024 to gain access into my desktop it was stated that I needed to pay for my Microsoft service which had lapsed. At that time I was charged $79.43 which I placed on my capital one card.. Today I received a charge from Microsoft for the same service to the same address and devices in the amount of $106.49. If I had already paid, why am I being billed again 13 days later? I would like to have , the $106.49 credited back to my Capital One card. How do I go about that that?

Unfortunately this doesn't happen. No one calls back. The Live Chat is hopeless too. The operator said that she couldn't find an account with my email and cut me off. I've gone back to my credit card company who have refunded me and are pursuing the overcharge now themselves.

That doesn't help at all. I'm opening another dispute with my bank. Then I will stop the automatic renewal after the first charge next year. Then they can cancel my ghost second subscription for nonpayment.

If I have a 365 family subscription that allows me to install it on 5 devices, why would I pay for a second subscription when I only have it installed on one device. Makes no sense,
