I was double billed. How do I get a credit for that amount?

On March 8, 2024 to gain access into my desktop it was stated that I needed to pay for my Microsoft service which had lapsed. At that time I was charged $79.43 which I placed on my capital one card.. Today I received a charge from Microsoft for the same service to the same address and devices in the amount of $106.49. If I had already paid, why am I being billed again 13 days later? I would like to have , the $106.49 credited back to my Capital One card. How do I go about that that?

    Type Live Agent on the box scroll down the page and click Contact support

    Click your product or service then select Microsoft 365 and Office

    Click Category and select Technical Support. Click Confirm. wait for a few minutes.

    Select Chat with support agent in your web browser or Provide your phonenumber and support agent will call you.

    I have the same issue. I was charged twice, same date and time, one immediately after the other. Both payments have left my credit card, both show on my Microsoft account.

    I've tried every which to resolve this. Live chat cuts me off after saying that they can't find an account with my email, despite having sent a code to that email address. The payment confirmation is sent to that very address. The call back system either errors or hangs. I'm in a loop of doom. Please can you help ?

    I contacted my credit card company and they are resolving since I could not.

    I stopped my automatic billing with Microsoft. I will just have to pay when my subscription renews.

    I've done the same. It's literally impossible to resolve it myself. The website is hopeless. If there was a viable alternative to Microsoft I would absolutely switch in a heartbeat. Totally frustrating.

    Good morning, This is in reply to your note dated Dec 23,2024 requesting that I "view my cart", confirm my order details and remit $122.08 for the renewal of my Microsoft 365 Family subscription.I recently had difficulty renewing my subscription that resulted in extensive efforts by Microsoft Customer Assistance Representatives, Rechel and Victor assisting me.Eventually Victor asked if I would agree to his renewing and billing me from his end. I told him I agreed - he said I needed to give him the authority to bill me for my upcoming subscription renewal - which I did.I am pleased to advise that Victor was successful in launching my 365. My credit card was debited in the amount of $122.08 by MICOSOFT*STORE MISSISSAUGA ON on Dec 20, 2024.The payment that you are requesting represents a double billing for my MS 365 subscription.Please confirm your receipt of this note and that the error has been corrected and that I can disregard your request for a double payment.I look forward to hearing from you . . . hopefully, today, before the holidays begin.Sincerely,Bob Rideout(Vancouver BC)
