On March 8, 2024 to gain access into my desktop it was stated that I needed to pay for my Microsoft service which had lapsed. At that time I was charged $79.43 which I placed on my capital one card.. Today I received a charge from Microsoft for the same service to the same address and devices in the amount of $106.49. If I had already paid, why am I being billed again 13 days later? I would like to have , the $106.49 credited back to my Capital One card. How do I go about that that?

This answer no longer applies. Microsoft removed their (your) customer service phone line and directs everyone to their support page. This is unacceptable. I have read everything and there is no longer a way to get a refund for a double billing situation.

Do we have to go to small claims court to get a refund?

I find it terrible for a company as large as Microsoft to have no way to speak to someone who can help.

How on earth do I get a refund for the over charge?

Don't waste your time trying to contact MS it will just make you mad and discover they could care less about customer service.

I agree. They are totally useless. They're rude, do not care and are frustrating. I got resolution through my credit card company in the end.
