Reverting Aptos +body/+headings font back to Calibri, or using any other font

At some point in the last couple of days, the default +body/+headings font on my copy of Office 365 changed to the Aptos font. I honestly find it a bit hard to read, and I'd rather choose my default body font from a choice of whatever fonts I have installed. Failing that, I'd take Calibri again. The Aptos font reminds me a lot of

Since this affects all Office products, I can't say go into Outlook and change the stationery fonts; this doesn't impact the Reading Pane. It also wouldn't impact say Word, where I'd have to come up with my own document template to override the change. It doesn't seem to be a registry edit or template file edit, either. Is there a spot that the Aptos font can be changed?

    There is no single location in which you can change the font for all Office applications.

    In Excel for Windows, you can change the default font for future workbooks via File > Options > General.

    In Word for Windows, select the font you want in the Font dialog box (Ctrl+D) and click Set as Default (see the screen shot below). When prompted, choose "all documents based on the <template name> template." In most cases, you want to change the font for the blank document template, which is called Normal.dotm. The modification applies to future documents based on the template. Later, if/when you are prompted to change the template, choose to do so.

    Thank very much for responding. It is frustrating that Microsoft insists on imposing Aptos as its default font and refuses to allow users to permanently change the default font. It is a waste of my time having to change the font for every document I send in Outlook.

    In the classic Outlook for Windows, click File > Options > Mail > Stationery and Fonts. Modify the fonts as desired.

    P.S. I agree that Microsoft changing the default Theme is not a good idea. It would be better if they provided an updated Theme without messing with the existing one.

    Please, how do I stop this?

    Aptos font has infected my computer. Please, how can I erase this Aptos font completely?

    As a visually-impaired person I find Aptos is difficult to read.

    The update automatically changed ALL of my default displays to Aptos 12 points and stopped loading my Normal and Excel start-up templates.

    All of my Draft Outlook emails that previously used multiple fonts and are now unusable.

    Completely unacceptable.
