Reverting Aptos +body/+headings font back to Calibri, or using any other font

At some point in the last couple of days, the default +body/+headings font on my copy of Office 365 changed to the Aptos font. I honestly find it a bit hard to read, and I'd rather choose my default body font from a choice of whatever fonts I have installed. Failing that, I'd take Calibri again. The Aptos font reminds me a lot of

Since this affects all Office products, I can't say go into Outlook and change the stationery fonts; this doesn't impact the Reading Pane. It also wouldn't impact say Word, where I'd have to come up with my own document template to override the change. It doesn't seem to be a registry edit or template file edit, either. Is there a spot that the Aptos font can be changed?

    I have written the following article that explains what to do. It needs to be applied to each workstation.

    I will need to see if we can work out the registry changes so we can click on a Reg file to revert back. Then we might be able to use group policy to roll it out within an organisation.

    Any help with these extra steps would be appreciated.

    I have this issue for emails that are sent to me from Outlook app. Any email sent from outlook app shows up as Aptos 12 font. How do I change that? The outlook app has a default font setting of Calibri 11 but when the email arrives into my outlook on windows, the font changes to Aptos 12.

    From which platform is the message sent? Generally, as a recipient of an e-mail message, you can't control the formatting of any message sent to you from another account.

    For example, the Outlook app on my work iPhone just sends in a default font which can't be changed. On my desktop Outlook, I see this text formatted in Aptos, although Aptos isn't my choice in the desktop app.

    Why do developers assume that everyone wants to be like them!!!!!!!!!!!! Ridiculous that you have to go into several screens to change to a font that you like and have used for years. I don't really care if some young developer thinks that Apatos is so much more 'whimsical".

    “Aptos has got a bit more whimsy to it,” she says, adding that the default font will be a perfect option for scripts she writes.

    Typical MSO 365 - don't give users an option to stick with what they like - even though we are paying for the product in an annual subscription. I have to spend my time going through each program to make the changes.

    Here's another annoyance - in Excel if you are in a worksheet set to use 'Calibri', and you go into Conditional Formatting and set the font colour to be a specific colour, Excel will show this colour in the preview window, but with the text 'Aptos Narrow', even though the font that the conditional formatting will use, will still be Calibri.
