Reverting Aptos +body/+headings font back to Calibri, or using any other font

At some point in the last couple of days, the default +body/+headings font on my copy of Office 365 changed to the Aptos font. I honestly find it a bit hard to read, and I'd rather choose my default body font from a choice of whatever fonts I have installed. Failing that, I'd take Calibri again. The Aptos font reminds me a lot of

Since this affects all Office products, I can't say go into Outlook and change the stationery fonts; this doesn't impact the Reading Pane. It also wouldn't impact say Word, where I'd have to come up with my own document template to override the change. It doesn't seem to be a registry edit or template file edit, either. Is there a spot that the Aptos font can be changed?

The help page clearly says that the default font for Office 365 is Calibri 11. If your apps show a different font, there surely must be a system error!
I expect the Microsoft Office 365 team to provide us with a fix for this ASAP. Although Norton 360 didn't detect any shady activities, I already uninstalled this Aptos font from my system (wasn't easy, these hackers are sketchy!), so it won't plague me anymore.

I have the same complaint about the default Aptos font, but the response didn't answer my question, namely how to change the default font permanently.

When I opened Excel today, it showed some weird font (Aptos Narrow, I believe). Have I been hacked? Has some sick person decided to play a practical joke on me? I checked the help pages, and it says that Calibri 11 is the default font: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/change-the-font-style-and-size-for-a-worksheet-b3f1792b-9980-4b92-9aa5-5dd6e940b195?nochrome=

Is there a safe way to revert this? That font is hideous, it makes editing formulas very difficult!
