Reverting Aptos +body/+headings font back to Calibri, or using any other font

At some point in the last couple of days, the default +body/+headings font on my copy of Office 365 changed to the Aptos font. I honestly find it a bit hard to read, and I'd rather choose my default body font from a choice of whatever fonts I have installed. Failing that, I'd take Calibri again. The Aptos font reminds me a lot of

Since this affects all Office products, I can't say go into Outlook and change the stationery fonts; this doesn't impact the Reading Pane. It also wouldn't impact say Word, where I'd have to come up with my own document template to override the change. It doesn't seem to be a registry edit or template file edit, either. Is there a spot that the Aptos font can be changed?

    What is wrong with Microsoft. It is an upgrade or even update.

    This means the version of software changes. You do not changes settings people have put in place for a reason! You don't wipe their signatures because they are going to be in cloud (yes that happened ask the 1000 users I had to deal with), you don't change apps to use edge and expect every user to know they have to go and change it back to default browser.

    The frustration caused by Microsoft in past couple of years is insane! Never in my life did I think leadership would come to IT as ask... "What would it take to get away from as much Microsoft as possible" EG: Google Workspace, Linux servers and damn MacBooks. That is how bad it is. A 30 year windows environment that users want to change and IT can't blame them.

    Yes, my 475 page thesis, which was supposed to be ready to submit, has changed to Aptos. Talk about 'this sucks'! Select all, change font back to calibri changed MOST of the font, but not everything, e.g., footnotes!

    Yes, this is a real pain to have to deal with. Suddenly all incoming emails use this difficult to read Aptos font, changing it without my intervention from Calibri. How do I change the incoming font back to Calibri? My version offers this option but how do I change it back to the default font on all incoming emails? The Default option is greyed out, see screenshot attached.

    There is no single place where you can change the font of all Office applications.

    In the classic version of Outlook for Windows, the plain text font can be modified via Composing and reading plain text messages at File > Options > Mail > Stationery and Fonts > Personal Stationery.

    In Word for Windows, you can use the Font dialog box (Ctrl+D) and set a new default font.

    You can change back to Calibri. See the previous replies in this thread.

    If you want to, you can send feedback to Microsoft via Help > Feedback. (I believe that you usually won't get a reply.)
