At some point in the last couple of days, the default +body/+headings font on my copy of Office 365 changed to the Aptos font. I honestly find it a bit hard to read, and I'd rather choose my default body font from a choice of whatever fonts I have installed. Failing that, I'd take Calibri again. The Aptos font reminds me a lot of
Since this affects all Office products, I can't say go into Outlook and change the stationery fonts; this doesn't impact the Reading Pane. It also wouldn't impact say Word, where I'd have to come up with my own document template to override the change. It doesn't seem to be a registry edit or template file edit, either. Is there a spot that the Aptos font can be changed?

This has just affected my entire computer. ALL the font somehow just changed to APTOS! I hate it! It looks like the old computer language. Desktop, instructions Google browser, everything has been changed!!!!
This does not work if just adding a new worksheet to an existing workbook that had the new default setting when the workbook was created. What's the fix for that?
More broadly, why would Microsoft choose to change the default formatting for documents? The default should be up to the user, might be an idea next time to add a confirmation notification that asks the user if they are happy for the default to be changed (rather than it just being "automatic"), as you will have realised by now that not everyone wants to change the default. If the user clicks on "OK" then change it, if they don't then don't. Quite simple really. Think about your users Microsoft, not what you might believe is best!

I have this issue for emails that are sent to me from Outlook app. Any email sent from outlook app shows up as Aptos 12 font. How do I change that? The outlook app has a default font setting of Calibri 11 but when the email arrives into my outlook on windows, the font changes to Aptos 12.
From which platform is the message sent? Generally, as a recipient of an e-mail message, you can't control the formatting of any message sent to you from another account.
For example, the Outlook app on my work iPhone just sends in a default font which can't be changed. On my desktop Outlook, I see this text formatted in Aptos, although Aptos isn't my choice in the desktop app.
I have written the following article that explains what to do. It needs to be applied to each workstation.
I will need to see if we can work out the registry changes so we can click on a Reg file to revert back. Then we might be able to use group policy to roll it out within an organisation.
Any help with these extra steps would be appreciated.
