Reverting Aptos +body/+headings font back to Calibri, or using any other font

At some point in the last couple of days, the default +body/+headings font on my copy of Office 365 changed to the Aptos font. I honestly find it a bit hard to read, and I'd rather choose my default body font from a choice of whatever fonts I have installed. Failing that, I'd take Calibri again. The Aptos font reminds me a lot of

Since this affects all Office products, I can't say go into Outlook and change the stationery fonts; this doesn't impact the Reading Pane. It also wouldn't impact say Word, where I'd have to come up with my own document template to override the change. It doesn't seem to be a registry edit or template file edit, either. Is there a spot that the Aptos font can be changed?

    Aptos is the new default font so the change was automatic.

    In Outlook: Open a new document and on the Format Text tab. Click change Styles button, choose the font you want then click set as Default. https://learn-attachment.microsoft.com/api/attachments/f1e4f15e-4b9d-4350-b068-8ac97c3c7357?platform=QnA

    this absolutely sucks.

    It has now changed Word styles on my contract documents.

    not everyone works on a single correspondence letter at a time...

    This is a problem...

    Aptos is incredibly difficult to read when in the Excel formula bar, especially with symbols such as $ in the mix too. I much preferred Calibri and consider Aptos a huge backwards step.

    Hi Diane,

    I appreciate the response. However, my issue goes beyond just the creation of documents. My issue is that even reading plain text emails means that I have to read them in this font, and I find it difficult to read. That's why I'm hoping for an across the board change somewhere to all Office products. A registry edit, a setting in a menu, I don't care, as long as I can put it into something easier for me to read.

    Why is Microsoft apparently doing everything possible to make our lives more difficult and complicated? The font change is just one example.
