How do I add SharePoint Server Site in my Sharepoint Mobile app?

Hello

I have two different ways of using of Sharepoint within my corporation: my "personal" 365 Sharepoint Online Account and the Sharepoint Server (managed by corporate). I can access both via the Sharepoint mobile app for iOS (Settings > Add account > + > typing the SharePoint Server address), however there is no option to actually save or bookmark the server site. I have to type in the address every time I want to access the Sharepoint server site.

I have editing rights on the SharePoint Server sites, so I don't think it's due to restricted access.

Many thanks for your help!

    Hi Monika,

    Thanks for contacting us,

You can add a SharePoint Server site to your SharePoint mobile app by following these steps:

    • Open the SharePoint app on your iOS device and tap **Settings** in the lower right corner.
    • Tap **Add account** and then tap **+** in the upper right corner.
    • Enter the URL of your SharePoint Server site and tap **Next**.
    • Sign in with your username and password for the SharePoint Server site. You may need to enter a verification code or use another authentication method if required by your organization.
    • Once you are signed in, you should see your SharePoint Server site in the **Accounts** section of the app. You can tap on it to access the site.

To save or bookmark the SharePoint Server site, you can use the **Follow** feature in the app. This will add the site to your **Following** list, which you can access by tapping the **star** icon in the lower left corner of the app. To follow a site, you can use the following steps:

    • Open the SharePoint app on your iOS device and tap on the **Accounts** section in the lower right corner.
    • Tap on the SharePoint Server site that you want to follow.
    • Tap on the **three dots** icon in the upper right corner of the site page.
    • Tap on **Follow** in the menu that appears. You should see a confirmation message that says **You are now following this site**.
    • To unfollow a site, you can repeat the same steps and tap on **Unfollow** instead.

Let me know if this helps or if you need further assistance.

    Regards, Sola

I have followed the instructions above, and they don't work. I click "Add Account", then "Sign in with a SharePoint Server URL" I enter the full URL, which looks like https://XXXXXX.sharepoint.com/sites/CORE/Shared%20Documents/Forms/AllItems.aspx, and click the arrow pointing to the right (which I assume is the "Next" referred to in the instructions above. Nothing happens. No error message saying the URL is wrong, nothing -- just silence. I've also tried it with just the portion of the URL up to "sites", with the same result -- my entry is just completely ignored. How do I get past this?
