Error code 29 when starting O365

I get this message every time I start Word or Excel and enter my valid email account name:

Apps show correct account when I acknowledge and enter program.

Microsoft 365 and Office | Subscription, account, billing | For home | Windows

    Hi,

    This fix worked perfectly. In 2 mins the office apps opened with no issues at all, i.e Error 29 has gone.

    Same problem, for weeks, nothing will fix it but thanks to TubaKoerper886, it is fixed. Was not easy finding this fix. Annoying that MS products now are pretty much "here is your product that you bought, if you have problems, figure it out yourself. We just create the messes, you fix, you spend your time on our issues that came with something you paid for".

    No wonder folks love Apple. I just cant reeducate myself to Apple after all the years of education on using Windows and all the koolaid I've drank.

    I struggled as well with this issue, but I got it resolved now.

    I think what eventually made it work again was running the scripts under "Method: Use scripts to automate the cleanup process": https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/office/troubleshoot/activation/reset-office-365-proplus-activation-state#method2

    Running the Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant did not work.

    I renewed the subscription to Microsoft 365, but even though I paid and the charge was made, I get a code that says 29 on both devices שמג a request to pay again on 1 of the two devices. Please solve the problem. Thanks,Tzach

    would be helpful if I could get my license key. My Office 365 is a subscription service, so I can't see a license key.
