Error code 29 when starting O365

what if you don't have a key when you purchased it though the MS Store?

Hi everyone.

I updated my Microsoft 365 license key this week. It's now 6/26/2024. Microsoft still hasn't provided a solution to the problem (I haven't been able to find one yet). I can't use the 365 applications on my computer.

Unfortunately, in my country, Microsoft seems to have hidden from customers, i.e. there is no way to talk to support, with a PERSON.

We are instructed by the answering machine to download an application that is supposed to fix the problem. Sad mistake.

But I haven't given up the search for a solution here in the community. I hope it will be useful to everyone who is facing this problem.

And, I call on Microsoft to work on a solution to this problem, apparently very simple, so that we no longer encounter this small error that greatly inconveniences us.

I had the same issue and nothing I did seemed to fix it.

However, I eventually and rather reluctantly downloaded and ran the Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant and this fixed the problem :)

I start to believe that this problem with error 29 to activate Microsoft 365 has a various causes. What do you think?

So, I still ask Microsoft to give us a definitively solution.

I spoke to one MS tech for several hours reinstalling 365 multiple times with no solution. She transfered me to another department and my problem was fixed in 10 minutes. I think his department maintained user licenses.
