Microsoft should be sue class action for copying and deleting all my files from my computer and moving it OneDrive cloud space without letting the user know...to get more money and subscription, MS has moved all my files onto Cloud and deleted from my C: drive!

This is done without the users permission or letting the user know of deleting files from the local drive.

I can understand if it copies to OneDrive location on the CLOUD.

NOw it has also made multiple copies and when I want a file I connot find it even!

What MS has done is by virtue of owning the desktop, they are forcing people to use OneDrive and moving files and filling it up on OneDrive so Microsoft can charge more money for cloud space when I did not want to remove it from my local hard drive and keep it on the cloud to begin with.

Now I had too many directories under Documents, they are saying I will have to copy one by one; that too create a zip for each directory and restore it....no easy way back from MS Cloud OneDrive back to the local hard drive.

This is unacceptable and created headaches for many users!!

Now I have to put in a lot of hours to reconstuct my files...

Sums up the situation perfectly! How many Microsoft users have been duped into handing over all our documents, files and photographs without our knowledge and then to add insult to injury, be told that we have to pay them to access our own files. I recently tried to delete one of MY files from OneDrive, only to be told that I do not have PERMISSION to delete one of my OWN FILES!! There must be a class action against Microsoft. Hey, hotshot lawyers...want to make a name for yourself? Get on board!

Windows 10 on my computer performed an automatic update on May 27 and it corrupted the software to the point where it can't be repaired. I'm currently using an older computer because it will take me hours or days to work through this issue. I'm getting a file recovery program in hopes of being able to retrieve my lost files, then I'll have to format and reinstall Windows 10 on my computer hard drive and start over. A computer is personal property and no entity should be permitted to take it over and perform any updates without the owners express permission. Software updates of any kind should by law default to a disabled status that gives the owner complete control with the option of activating it. This would allow you to back up your computer before updates are installed, and allow you to restore your computer in the event of damage. Current laws that protect our homes from unreasonable searches without a warrant should be extended to our personal computers that are in our homes. Clauses in agreements that automatically permit software upgrades and intrusion into our computer should be against the law. Automatic updates should not be able to just take over. The only other option would be for everyone to just stop buying products that don't work the way we want them to - until they listen and give up what we want.

    To Mia Zhao,

I'm unable to get into my hotmail account (removed PII). I forgot my password, and I've tried everything I can do to get into my account. I've had this account for 20 years, since the early 2000's.

Microsoft tech support and customer service are horrendously bad because it's impossible to get through to a live human being to solve the problem. It's all AI instead of live human beings. In fact, I suspect that Mia Zhao is not an actual person but is a fake name attached to an AI robot. Are you a real human being, Mia? Please don't lie. Tell the truth.

I need to get in touch with a live human being at Microsoft tech support. Are there any live human beings working for Microsoft, or just AI robots? Does Microsoft give a damn about its customers? Clearly, Microsoft doesn't care enough about its customers to hire sufficient live human beings to give good customer service. What can you do to help me, Mia? I'm wondering if I need to sue Microsoft because you have essentially kidnapped my documents in my hotmail account. At this point, I just want my documents. I'm fed up with Microsoft's horrible customer service.
