My children are unable to log into their accounts, and their accounts are linked with with mine in Family Safety. I am able to input all required information to identify their account in the account verification form, but they have not sent emails from their account. Every time I complete an account verification form, it tells me I haven't provided enough information. How can I provide more if they have never sent an email? It is VERY frustrating that as their mother, I am not able to help them reset their password and now their account and personal information is not within my control. Microsoft needs to fix this issue, I have read dozens of posts from frustrated parents about this.

I wouldn't be writing here if it was that easy. Yes I tried that..
Now... Maybe they fixed the problem, and forgot password now works. I'll try again.
I ended up creating a new email account. Tried multiple times to reset password - even completed security questions about the exact Xbox that was last used, but that apparently was not enough info.
So there’s now a redundant account out there which I assume Microsoft will one day delete.
I have the exact same issue -- create a child account for the Xbox and now something happened and he cannot login but trying to login prompts for MY password and when I enter it, the damn Xbox refuses to allow the login because "there's Already an account on the system with (my email address)". No wonder why Sony is kicking Microsoft's **** with PlayStation.

However, it can't be resolved. I had to make 2 new accounts from scratch. *do not make child accounts* unless 20000% neccessary
