How can I reset the password to my child's account?

Unfortunately after a Minecraft purchase on an android phone and then the need of Microsoft/Xbox account the recovery email has not been set. The skip for recovery email I'm not sure if it was dues to the 'create process' or my clumsiness.

On the Family safety I have both of my kids, but just the first account has the no email recover, the second one had and the recover has achieved.

Now, for the account with no recover email is not a possibility to put this solution in Family safety. To add the possibility of adding at least just the parent email address if not a possibility to reset directly the kid's password.

Same problem, no solution. These kids are minors and should not be allowed to access their passwords and account information until 16. Now parents can't reset these account passwords.

Large - humongous - conglomerated Microsoft - I've debugged for over an hour - Tested all the options here - No, I've not logged in with my kids account to any other devices other than the initial xbox-account, and now the password is broken, and there is no way what whatsoever to reset it. I even specifically set my private mail as family organizer and checked on everything to make this easy to administer.. I thought..

I'm a 7 years experienced software engineer, and the design here in the resetting this password is a complete deadlock mess with bots not going anywhere unless you've already used the account for mails and other things extensively.,

Just read this: "Microsoft expects the kids to have their own phone" for the password resets... Jesus... even the whole of Silicon Valley won't give their kids phones...

I just need a god damn account for the kids to play Minecraft and connect to a friend...
Mojang was way better than this multi-corp personal-info-scraping hog **** process I've gone through to just register the account...
And now.. *this*..

Over two years later and NO REAL SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM!

I tried the password reset process and they asked me to provide a bunch of information I didn't really have. My kid doesn't send emails! He's not even 10 years old! I just made the stupid email account because that's the only way I could redeem a stupid minecoin card. Microsoft made my kid cry because he's had the card for over two weeks and I still don't have access to his account to be able to enter the code!

How freaking hard would it have been to provide a password reset option for Family Group managers or at least asking for the parent to sign-in to allow the reset to go through? And to top it all off Microsoft makes it as hard as any other billion-dollar company to find any kind of support number or email to resolve the issue!

Edit: Oh, I thought I was done complaining, but not even close! Despite the fact that my account and my child's account are in a Family Group, their knowledge article states that if I don't know pretty much all of the details about an account I made solely because I was forced to make one for a kids game then I'm SOL! That account is trash and can never be used by anyone unless I miraculously remember the password (which won't happen because I always make highly secure passwords)!

The sad part was that I've needed the mail address for school assignment and I've tried again...

I remembered I've had the same family stuff on Gmail and guess what I did not remembered the password there either... so I've used the reset password option on my kid's email address and it has worked.

So, it can be done with gmail, maybe Microsoft can gent some ides from them?
