List - Something went wrong: Invalid argument: 'headers' missing application ID header

Howdy y'all,

We currently have a shared list setup which has multiple users, however one of our users regularly gets this error when opening the list - Something went wrong: Invalid argument: 'header's missing application ID header. He states he simply opens the list and the error populates, refreshing a few times fixes it.

For some reason I can't attach a image. But all it states is the error above with a spilt ice cream cone.

    Having this issue too - is there a fix. I keep seeing that Microsoft haven't seen this issue, but we are all reporting it. Is there a fix?

    I have been having the same issue for weeks now, and finally got it behaving correctly again. I unfortunately did a few things all at the same time, so I'm not sure which one worked, but an accidental 'fix' is still a 'fix' right?

    Here's what I did:

    1. Edit the navigation list by clicking Edit at the bottom of the Navigation menu.
    2. Open one of my misbehaving navigation items by clicking the 3 dots and 'Edit', changed nothing and hit OK.
    3. Turned ON the "Enable site navigation audience targeting" , Click Save.
    4. Immediately returned to the Edit menu and turned OFF the same button in step 3, Click Save.

    I can't imagine why this last one would have had ANY impact , but maybe the 'read' trigger did something so including just in case:

    1. Opened the 'Site Contents' menu navigated to "Site Page" library and looked at the details of Home.aspx

    At first it didn't work, but after refreshing a couple times, all my navigation menus started working again.

    My GUESS is that there is a navigation script somewhere that bugged for some reason (mine stopped working with no apparent cause, I hadn't modified anything recently) and by resaving an item on the nav bar, and forcing it to re-write that bit of code for the navigation menu, it updated whatever header it was mad about.

    Will this fix the problems with list items created with power automate flows as well?

    Will this fix the fact that power automate put the new list item somewhere but not in the list? It doesn't show up in the List Items where it can be seen? You have to know to search for it because, hopefully, you also have an email that alerts you. God help you if you don't. And if you are lucky enough to search for it and find it, it shows up in the Shared With Us menu item? But you can't DO anything with it, except edit it. You can't kick off any subsequent flows, etc.

    Thanks for letting us know the extent of the fix because that error report doesn't contain half of what is actually going on.

    I have tried some of the fixes and it seems now to be intermittent - anything from Microsoft?

    I tried all of these as you stepped them through and it seems to have now made the problem intermittent. For example, the first time the page loads I can now access the list - but if I try and access the list a second time, I can't access it. This is better than previously, when I couldn't access it at all.
