Hi All,
Here is the update:
Current status: Further investigation regarding the aforementioned request handling issue revealed that a recent request handler change, intended to optimize processing of incoming request and responses for an unrelated feature, contained a code regression which interacted negatively with the code path that facilitates users' access to lists in SharePoint Online, resulting in impact. Our fix, which addresses this regression, is continuing to progress throughout affected environments without issue and, as previously stated, should be providing relief to some users whose environments it's already reached. According to our monitoring and deployment projections, we still anticipate full propagation and subsequent resolution for all users by our next scheduled update on Wednesday, August 9, 2023.
Scope of impact: Your organization is affected by this event, and any user attempting to access lists in SharePoint Online is impacted.
Start time: Monday, July 24, 2023, at 7:00 AM UTC
Estimated time to resolve: We anticipate resolution for all users by Wednesday, August 9, 2023.
Root cause: A recent request handler change, intended to optimize processing of incoming request and responses for an unrelated feature, contained a code regression which interacted negatively with the code path that facilitates users' access to lists in SharePoint Online, resulting in impact.
