List - Something went wrong: Invalid argument: 'headers' missing application ID header

Howdy y'all,

We currently have a shared list setup which has multiple users, however one of our users regularly gets this error when opening the list - Something went wrong: Invalid argument: 'header's missing application ID header. He states he simply opens the list and the error populates, refreshing a few times fixes it.

For some reason I can't attach a image. But all it states is the error above with a spilt ice cream cone.

Thank you for any assistance.

    Hi all,

We have the same problem every day (since last week of July '23).

Is there any fix available? It's only when we have a SharePoint-site open for a while and uses the sidebar navigation.

    Looking forward to it!

    Erik

I had the same issue, but noticed that the 'Syn Changes' was continuous on the SharePoint list. Went to the teams channel for the SharePoint site and selected 'Sync' on the top bar from there, and after a short period, all up and working. Hopefully, this snippet will help someone :-)

    Hi All,

Currently, we haven't received any reports or service health issues about this behavior. Given this situation, we do understand the inconvenience caused and apologize for it.

    This isn't quite true.

I reported it as an issue via service health and it returned as "no issue found" - when there is as demonstrated by several of us all reporting the same issue starting this week with no changes to lists.

I also have a ticket raised via support to investigate.

Unfortunately it seems it takes quite a lot of people to report an issue before it finally gets acknowledged as an issue...

This should have been flagged in service health from 10am yesterday when it was reported to Microsoft.

    Hey y'all,

Our temp fix atm has been to clear cache. But it's the same as previous comments, only occurs using side navigation
