Every time I turn on my computer, the "sign in Microsoft Family Features" pops up. I have tried: Removing myself from family group per https://account.microsoft.com/family/home (already listed as an adult there) Checking start up options (doesn't show up) Looking at uninstalling Microsoft Family Features (doesn't show up) Deleting the Microsoft Family Feature folder Telling my firewall not to let it through Every time I did one of these steps, I turned off and back on my computer, and still each time it persisted. Make it stop!!!

Jason... I have the same issue of this pop up asking me to login in or "mommy and daddy may have to shut down my computer time".... considering I'm 59 years old this is more than slightly annoying. I did this; Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box. Type " netplwiz " and press Enter. In the User Accounts window, select your account and uncheck the box that says " Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer. " Click Apply and enter your password if prompted. Restart your computer and check if the pop-up still appears. The result was a had my name listed twice at the login, where the new version was more or less just a ghost considered to be wrong and I was forced to always login via my normal route. All it did was slow down my start up (which used to be around 8 seconds) even more. btw... my start up due to this new update and 365 **** has slowed to nearly a minute. I check into doing this: Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box. Type " services.msc " and press Enter. In the Services window , scroll down and locate the " Microsoft Family Features " service. Right-click on the service and select Properties. Change the Startup type to " Disabled " and click Apply . Restart your computer and check if the pop-up still appears. ... but it is already deactivated. I have this problem due to either the last large system update or that I attempted to add in the Microsoft 365 via my wife's computer. Truth is I rarely need Word, Excel, never use Power Point or the other things and have the Cloud de-installed (seriously not everyone wants this Cloud thing as I trust my ability to protect my data better than a misty cloud). Anyway... I finally got rid of 365 as it was a pain in the ****, additionally the new version tries to do too much of the work without me asking it do to so and I have to constantly correct its mistakes. I opted for a 3rd party software that allows me to do my own work without constantly making unsolicited suggestions. (seriously, the developer might want a few more adults in the room the next time they create "user (un)friendly software". To be honest... Is there a way to purge the system of the entire Family Features Package? I don't mean disable... I mean eliminate it all together! Not everyone finds family feature to be a good thing, especially if it is an overbearing family much like this particular attention ****. If you have a suggestion how I can kill off this "helicopter mommy" without screwing up necessary functions in my computer it would be appreciated. G
