Stop dialog popup "Microsoft respects your privacy"

I'm on a Windows 11 PC

Every time I start outlook, word, excel, etc the below dialogs appear. Once I have clicked through all the options the toolbar has this notification under it;

For a start "Restart Office" is not very clear, because there is no office app. So I assume it means close and restart all running office applications. Which I did but the dialogs continue to appear each time I start one of the apps.

I have since tried;

  1. Restarting PC
  2. Office Repair
  3. Office Repair online (it uninstalled office and then couldn't go any further so I had to download and reinstall office)
  4. Reinstall of office

Does anyone know how to fix this so it no longer appears at the start of office 365 apps

    I think I have finally got rid of the Privacy messages. I only have one MS account so signed out of it on all M-365 applications, then re-started PC. Signed into MS again and opened Outlook and did the File->Office account stuff then logged out again and again re-started.

    I think that has fixed it...

    What a mess! Same thing constantly happening every time I want to open a file. Such a waste of time. My IT people tried to fix this but they can't. Unbelievable inconvenience.

    agreed. Can't opt out of the system but I did undo auto pay. If they don't fix it I'll quit
