Stop dialog popup "Microsoft respects your privacy"

I'm on a Windows 11 PC

Every time I start outlook, word, excel, etc the below dialogs appear. Once I have clicked through all the options the toolbar has this notification under it;

For a start "Restart Office" is not very clear, because there is no office app. So I assume it means close and restart all running office applications. Which I did but the dialogs continue to appear each time I start one of the apps.

I have since tried;

  1. Restarting PC
  2. Office Repair
  3. Office Repair online (it uninstalled office and then couldn't go any further so I had to download and reinstall office)
  4. Reinstall of office

Does anyone know how to fix this so it no longer appears at the start of office 365 apps

    Thank you for your response. I'm using Outlook for Mac (alternating betweeen "Legacy Outlook" and "New Outlook"). Both cause me error messages since I've added a new personal account with a personalized e-mail address. Legacy Outlook says "Something went wrong. [2002]" and the New Outlook asks to "Restart the application" because of some "Privacy Settings." I can't properly use either version of Outlook for Mac anymore.

    I'm not sure what version you are running but I have Office 365 which has the "File > Office Account". It should be located at the top left of your screen when you start Outlook. If not, the opening screen has been changed...not sure how that would have happened. When you click on "File", the "Office Account" will be in the left menu bar, near the bottom of the screen.

    I don't have the MAC version.

    I can't find "File > Office Account". Where is that? Are we talking about Outlook for Mac?

    In Outlook for Windows (the classic version), you will see File > Office Account, while Word, Excel and PowerPoint have File > Account.

    The new Outlook for Windows does not have a File tab at all.
