Stop dialog popup "Microsoft respects your privacy"

I'm on a Windows 11 PC

Every time I start outlook, word, excel, etc the below dialogs appear. Once I have clicked through all the options the toolbar has this notification under it;

For a start "Restart Office" is not very clear, because there is no office app. So I assume it means close and restart all running office applications. Which I did but the dialogs continue to appear each time I start one of the apps.

I have since tried;

  1. Restarting PC
  2. Office Repair
  3. Office Repair online (it uninstalled office and then couldn't go any further so I had to download and reinstall office)
  4. Reinstall of office

Does anyone know how to fix this so it no longer appears at the start of office 365 apps

    Just reinstalling Office will not correct the issue unless it is the only device you have it installed on. You must sign out of any / all of your OneDrive accounts. You will have one for each Microsoft email address. You must do this on all devices. Once you have signed out of all your accounts on all of your systems (iPhone, iPad, Computers) you can then restart any office application, follow the privacy prompts, and that should "cure" your issue. There have been no "negative" responses to the instructions I've provided. All have found them to "cure" the issue.

    I was able to solve my problem: I uninstalled all Microsoft 365 applications in the cleanest way I could figure out. Then, I reinstalled all of them. The problem occurs no longer. Fingers crossed that it stays this way!
