Processes in Microsoft 365 for setting up Office apps, redeeming product keys, and activating licenses.
My first response stated you had to satisfy each account and have repeated one needs to close out of each of their accounts before attempting to satisfy the Microsoft privacy prompts. In addition, I've clarified "account" as being an email account. For each Microsoft email account you have to set privacy for each.
Also, in response to the sloppy programming...one might see it that way but when you consider how many variables and the associated legal issues, I understand why each account is separate yet associated. Take a quick look at your OneDrive settings. Then ask yourself which of those settings should be the same across all of your accounts. By the way, there are two main email ".com" addresses. You are the power behind the email address. How is Microsoft supposed to know which account belongs to you? Now, maybe Microsoft could look into programming that would allow YOU to link each of your accounts and sync them according to your needs...but would you want each of your accounts to have the same attributes? Would you want to set yourself up for "failure" by saying yes to sync all your accounts when you might have one account you are paying extra for additional storage and get charged for all your other accounts because you didn't understand the ramifications of syncing your accounts to remove the aggravation of having to set your privacy settings for each of your accounts?
That being said, a good programmer could do what you suggest and allow you to drill down through each of your accounts to determine what you want to sync, or not. Not an easy task. How much would you pay to have a programmer accomplish that for the "world". Expending that kind of manpower/effort/expense would require something in return...what are you willing to give that Microsoft might want besides $$.$$?
As aggravating as it was to determine and fix the problem, I'll save my money and rely on "good Samaritans" in the Microsoft community to help me resolve the problem.
Thanks!
