Editor's similarity checker not working

3/25 It's back!

I'm not sure if it works on every document, but it worked on one of mine!

(Edit on 4/26) It works on some documents but not on others... Does anyone else have the same problem?

Someone in the comment section said "The latest word, as of today, is "The latest update in the bug is that there are still some approvals that the team is waiting on. The Word team is treating this as a high-priority incident and is working to have this restored as soon as possible.". So anyone wondering for any updates, there it is...

    Yes, and I'm sure some people have already reached out Microsoft feedback section. I was just wondering if anyone got a reply back, since a person was on a call with Microsoft, and couldn't figure it out, and they said they'll reach out later.

    "I spent 2 hours on the phone with 3 different MS techs and they could not resolve the issue.

    They said they would get back to me."

    No one on this forum works for Microsoft. We are all just volunteers, other users with no influence over the product design. The only way to get a message directly to Microsoft is to use the Feedback mechanism in the software itself. No amount of shouting here will reach Microsoft.

    yes, and how helpful that has been! We pay lots of money for this software, some of use it to support our livelihood. Posting over and over again that Microsoft is aware of the problem is poor customer service. Please solve the issue!!!!!
