I use a Kaban-style board sorted into buckets for each project. Frustratingly, I cannot figure out how to sort the tasks within a bucket by due date automatically. Currently, if I want to see the most urgent items at the top and least urgent at the bottom, I need to manually drag the task down... which does not scroll down well, so I often need to drag & drop, drag & drop, drag & drop... until it arrives where I need it.
How could I keep this same Kaban-style board format (not list, grid, or schedule view) and have each column sorted by due date, even when I add a new task in?

I swear there used to be a way to do this, before the Planner-Tasks-Teams-Everything merger.
It is a bit ludicrous to have a planner application not allow sorting by due date while staying in buckets. Grouping by due date is not at all helpful, having the bucket as a tag is just not at ALL what I'm looking for in functionality.
It is brutally inadequate but you can drag/drop the items within the bucket to manually sort them by date.
I am using that to limp along until this gets fixed.
