office365 App download/installation for macOS Big Sur 11.7.10

I have just tried to download and install the office365 apps, but received the notification that the install needs Mac OS 12. I am running Mac OS 11. But can't seem to find the office365 download version for os11. From where can I install the latest office365 apps for my MacBook running Big Sur 11.7.10?

For some reason I am unable to upload a screenshot of the error message. So the error message reads:

Software Requirement

This software requires macOS version 12.0 or later.

Same trouble here - my child's MacBook Air can't be upgraded to Monterey, so I could not install from office.com or the Appstore.

But thanks to the www, I found a way.

Have a look here: https://macadmins.software/

There I found a list of versions available. Version 16.77 should run on Big Sur and there is a link to the installer for the suite (https://officecdnmac.microsoft.com/pr/C1297A47-86C4-4C1F-97FA-950631F94777/MacAutoupdate/Microsoft_365_and_Office_16.77.23091003_Installer.pkg)

I downloaded the installer and ran on 11.7.9 Big Sur.

    Same issue. I'm subscribing to MS Office and had to factory reset my MacBook Pro. It can only run macOS 11.7.10 Big Sur. We all need the link to download Office 2019. The only options I have been able to find from Microsoft and the App Store require OS12, and unfortunately, the online version is not an equal solution.

    I see many people have asked and you have yet to respond. How do we install Office 2019 if we cannot update our OS?

    Hello,

    I am also experiencing this problem.

    My MacBook Air is a 2014 model and will not upgrade beyond MacOS 11.7.10 Big Sur.

    I have already purchased Microsoft Office Home and Student 2021 and have scratched the product key and am now unable to install the product. I am incredibly frustrated as there is no warning provided in relation to Mac system requirements.

    I have since looked up the system requirements here on the Microsoft website and it states that MacOS is appropriate for installation of Office Home and Student 2021 - there is no mention of 12.0 being required.

    If there had been a warning, I would not have purchased this product.

    Can you please assist?
