office365 App download/installation for macOS Big Sur 11.7.10

I have just tried to download and install the office365 apps, but received the notification that the install needs Mac OS 12. I am running Mac OS 11. But can't seem to find the office365 download version for os11. From where can I install the latest office365 apps for my MacBook running Big Sur 11.7.10?

For some reason I am unable to upload a screenshot of the error message. So the error message reads:

Software Requirement

This software requires macOS version 12.0 or later.

Same trouble here - my child's MacBook Air can't be upgraded to Monterey, so I could not install from office.com or the Appstore.

But thanks to the www, I found a way.

Have a look here: https://macadmins.software/

There I found a list of versions available. Version 16.77 should run on Big Sur and there is a link to the installer for the suite (https://officecdnmac.microsoft.com/pr/C1297A47-86C4-4C1F-97FA-950631F94777/MacAutoupdate/Microsoft_365_and_Office_16.77.23091003_Installer.pkg)

I downloaded the installer and ran on 11.7.9 Big Sur.

    I got microsoft365 subscription working finally on MacOS BigSur 11.7.10. First, remove all office applications and then download and install 16.77(not 16.77.1 which was there by default for me)-link given above in one thread.

    I am running Big Sur 11.7.10 and Office 16.77 will not run—says Mac OS Upgrade Required.

    Unfortunately, I'm 32 hours from a deadline for my entire funding and now have no access to all my documentation for grant application.

    hi Sophia,

    I was happy to read your reply that I could run MC office 2019 on my 2015 Mac, which is running Mac S Big Sur 11.7.10.

    I purchased Office 2019 and was very disappointed to discover that the min requirement is OS 12 - the thousands of us who are using older Macs can not upgrade to OS 12. Can you please advise how I can work around this as I have now purchased Office 2019 but cant install it - thank you.
