I think my Microsoft account has been hacked

1. If you, at any point, didn't sign-in to the account for a year, it was closed and cannot be recovered.
2. When trying to sign-in at https://account.microsoft.com are you told that the account doesn't exist?

Then (second question) the hijacker created a new alias and deleted the original address, now a non-primary alias. There is no way for you to recover this account. Sorry.

not really because i received an email to my phone from Hotmail/Microsoft team saying my email was hacked if and to replay to the massaged to alert this them is said to reach back so they can fix the problem - i did have access on my phone and laptop to view but not to send and receive email when i used other laptop is when it said that i couldn't access the acct and locate so i reached out to Microsoft team they emailed me back that they decided to close the acct without giving me an option to at least extract important files i could have at least gotten !
