Hi,
I cannot access my Microsoft 365 account anymore.
I think my account has been hacked because when I try recovering the password, the email displayed is apparently from a Czech Republic domain (.cz). However, I have never had any .cz email.
I would like to please help me recover my Microsoft account access, so that I can get back to using it.
Thank you for your support.
Kind regards
Umberto

John, i've saying that for months to Microsoft, Google, Whatsapp, Facebook, Instagram and the only think they ask me is to create a new account e password. Some people think that phone is a second way to protect you. The guys that are making my live a real hell had developed one app that replaces google standard aplication and they already change my password. Second level of security? I can show everething to you guys in one video call.

So anyone can still your identity and use a similar email, that's not on. It's a disgrace, I'm 80 and I feel as if my life has been taken over by a hacker, but Microsoft won't do a thing about. What the good of me paying out for Microsoft, but they can't do anything.

Without posting any personal info like phone number or full email address, in what way did someone steal your identity? Did they get credit card numbers, bank account numbers, etc.?

As far as similar email addresses, think of how many addresses there must be like

    johnsmith01

    johnsmith02

    johnsmith97

    etc.

ive changed my password and Ive also introduced two step verification, but Im more concerned that whoever took my identity is using it in an outlook email account as *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. Is there any way of taking this email account down.

    From another post:
Please confirm if Microsoft can take the outlook account down.

Microsoft might shutdown an email account for these reasons:

    Abuse and Spam Reporting

To report unlawful, abusive, unwanted or malicious email that you find originating from an Outlook.com, Hotmail, Live, or MSN account , please forward a complete copy of the abusive message (including the full message header) to ******@outlook.com. Sending these types of communications is a violation of Microsoft policy and appropriate action will be taken on confirmed reports.

The fact that someone else is using your name or a very similar email address is not sufficient reason for Microsoft to close that account.
