Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Thanks Babatunde, I appreciate your help and insight.
Unfortunately, after filling the Microsoft form three times, with all information I have available (some questions ask for info that is 10 years old, and there is no way for me to recover it going back that far), I have always received an automatic email that says that 'Unfortunately, our automated system has determined that the information you provided was not sufficient for us to validate your account ownership. Microsoft takes the security and privacy of our customers very seriously, and our commitment to protecting your personal information requires that we take the utmost care in ensuring that you are the account owner'.
This is exceptionally frustrating, because there is no way to contact a human person and explain the situation. No email address, nothing. This is just atrocious customer service.
Bottom-line, not only my Microsoft account has been likely hacked, but Microsoft itself does not have in place a procedure to help a customer re-secure said account. Quite baffling.
Would it be that hard for them to just install a more secure login procedure? (i.e. contact me on my mobile phone or a secondary/recovery email account)?
Speechless.
