Dear Raymond and ALL, who are interested,
Firstly, I'm really sorry for a very late reply. I have tried everything you've recommended on Nov 20th, 2023... THANKS once again.
BUT!...
Microsoft took my almost 23 hours to resolve the problem. I think, I've knocked the doors of around-the-globe-Microsoft-call-centers, I believe.... At the end, have I solved it? The answer is a big NOOO!
So what happened after 23 hours: One MS call center technician (a lady) proposed to install an earlier version of Office (ver sion 16.75) and recommended not to update it any more... (p.s. Some of the call center agents were aware of this problem per complaints they received. But, only 2 of them could help me -out of 15 maybe-)
Now (as of March'24), I still use v16.75... I did stop and still do all auto updates (cancel them)....
All that said, Microsoft STILL enforces me buy a new Office Package (remember that I had originally purchased a "life-time office license). After all these written, and all comments by precious YOU, they (Microsoft) DO NOT CARE about this AT ALL.
What can we say? They continue to milk us (our money) and customer complaints are nothing they take into account!..
++ It took about 10 to 15 min.s to reach a call center agent to talk to... So ANNOYING!...
