I want to sue Microsoft -- OneDrive has hijacked all my local files and there's no way to retreive it!!!!

Microsoft is using deceptive tactics to hold our content hostage. I wasn't given any intimation on how OneDrive would without my permission take hold of my folders and content and not release it back to me unless I took their subscription account to access them. Even though I have paid for a yearly subscription, I still am not able to restore back all my content to my local storage. Though the sum of amount they've received isn't much, the value of my content is too high for me. I do not want them on OneDrive, I want them locally on my computer and for me to access, store, or transfer per my discretion.

When they apply this policy at a systemic level where all Windows users are subjected to it, suddenly the under $20 annual fee obviously becomes a much greater sum. It is something that must be attacked and resented publicly. A class action law suit is necessary when companies begin to act so callously.

    Well, I am an engineer works in Silicon Valley. Most engineers are fine. But engineers in Microsoft (its headquarters is in Seattle, not Silicon Valley) are complacent into their good life, and just enjoy whatever good stuffs the company provides them. The problem is not with the engineers, but the management of Microsoft, those financial guys, marketing guys, their **** brains have a single purpose to squeeze the last penny out of people's pockets.

    I'd suggest your contact your own House Representative, I bet a lot of them are willing to start a investigation on Microsoft. Unless they also receive a big donation from Microsoft, then you are out of luck!

    I am going to get blackballed for this. Here's why;

    I must have written something so horrible it got the attention of actual Microsoft employees, got escalated to who knows where, finally to this;

    Ken- 469-775-1140. He is supposed to be a MS technical whiz. But, I either dump my life or install office 2019 / 365. I bought Office 2019 in 2020 for $149 as an independent stand alone program. Microsoft has lost the definition of independent, or free will, or, get the **** out of my house/life/computer.

    The other way to contact the 'Escalation' department is - ******@microsoftsupport.com

    I am nervous putting this up on this site or any site really.

    MS already broke into my house and hacked into my computer installing Windows 11 without my permission. I think as soon as I post this, nope before, I'm back, I bought an airgap. It has no wifi, Bluetooth, internet components. It is a computer before the internet.

    A friend separated Word from 365. I imagined screaming like separating Siamese Twins with a dinner knife. It felt good. As they were torn apart we had great music on;

    Anyone know Pearls Before Swine - Surrealistic Waltz?

    I'm a gonna try to override the email deletion.

    Think of this as one word

    First -

    microsoft

    escalation

    support - All one word

    Second -

    Shift/2

    Third -

    microsoftsupport

    Last -

    dot/com

    I hope this works

    All you need to do is turn off OneDrive sync. Then move everything back to the folders that are outside of OneDrive.

    Did you request a call back from support? If not, don't trust people who call and say they are with Microsoft.
