I want to sue Microsoft -- OneDrive has hijacked all my local files and there's no way to retreive it!!!!

Microsoft is using deceptive tactics to hold our content hostage. I wasn't given any intimation on how OneDrive would without my permission take hold of my folders and content and not release it back to me unless I took their subscription account to access them. Even though I have paid for a yearly subscription, I still am not able to restore back all my content to my local storage. Though the sum of amount they've received isn't much, the value of my content is too high for me. I do not want them on OneDrive, I want them locally on my computer and for me to access, store, or transfer per my discretion.

When they apply this policy at a systemic level where all Windows users are subjected to it, suddenly the under $20 annual fee obviously becomes a much greater sum. It is something that must be attacked and resented publicly. A class action law suit is necessary when companies begin to act so callously.

    What do mean, "why doesnt he?...." Why does microsoft feel they have ANY buisness downloading his, mine or others PERSONAL content immidiately without out notice, permission or a way to stop it or a way to get it back? How can you suggest to him to go around a problem that by all rights,shouldnt exist? This is the DELIBRATE THEFT OF INFORMATION THAT ISNT MICROSOFTS. A CORPORATION THAT DOES KNOW BETTER BUT IS DOING IT ANYWAY. That is ILLEGAL. so tell me again what that man SHOULD do? Sue microsoft? Yup thats what i heard. How can they have no fear of blatant theft?

    I agree that Microsoft has gone too far in trying to create a cash flow through brute force. I have all the storage I need locally. I believe it is illegal for them to hijack my property and hold it hostage in their cloud. I have tried to opt out and stop them but they have decided to make this so complicated that most consumers cannot stop it.

    I would be happy to join any class action lawsuit to reign in this abuse of monopoly power. I think they need to be broken up since they lack the ethics to manage their dominance!

    Theft is a crime and I believe that Microsoft is engaged in criminal activity when they steal my property and hold it hostage in their cloud! I see this as a law enforcement issue and some people need to be fined and jailed to adjust their thinking!

    Yes, Microsoft One Drive criminal / Hacker / Ransom were like behaviour also started around the same time it became impossible to call 132058 and speak to a real person.

    Once you have deleted OneDrive from your pc you cannot disable OneDrive unless you buy storage space because the cloud app is locked. I never signed up to use OneDrive and thought that deleting it from my pc would cancel that service but that proved to be untrue.
