HOW DO I CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION TO MICROSOFT 365

I need to cancel my personal subscription which I never used. They billed me again and the phone number on the transaction is not for microsoft 425-681-6830 so I can't speak to anyone. I am using my work computer to be able to contact someone. I do not have any information on the subscription because my personal computer broke down two months after I purchased the subscription and I don't have any information on the subscription other than I purchased a year subscription and now they billed me again. I was under the impression that it was a one time purchase. can you help me with that?

Hello I bought a  new computer last week as the drives on the old one were too full to function properly and the upgrade cost was about half of a new one with bigger drives and a faster processor ready for the AI invasion i.e. Windows 12.I had the old drives copied over to the new computer and most programs transitioned nicely. Most things were pretty easy to get working and re-registered. I have a bit of trouble with my 365 app. I have been a user since the first year this program was launched about 20 years ago. I set up an email address and the password for 365. That was early on in the whole email thing and I had multiple passwords as this stuff was all new and the worry of finding out the passwords was high, There was one browser and then there were many browsers, Napster, websites and on and on. An onslaught of programs needing passwords. Ah, the good old days. Yikes.I remembered that the user name for 365 was rick_@bell.net but couldn't remember the password. When I started Word on Wed., on the new computer, all it would do is ask me to sign up for the free month trial. I needed to get to my files that night so I signed up for the 30 day thing and used what I needed that night. On Thursday, I did some searching and talked to Sarah of Microsoft support via chat and found out how to use the Account and Options tabs on the bottom left of the Word app. I was then asked to sign in and I put in the email address and tried some of the passwords that I used to use 20 years ago and one of them worked!!So I am up and functioning. Sarah, on the chat line said she needed to use that old, long dead email to verify the account before she could make any changes. I had no access that old provider from the last city that I lived in so, stymied. Sarah sent me a link to use to try and re-gain access to 365 adn ended the chat. I was able to get into Word later in the day from the File page of Word thus ending the issue.Is there anything that can be done to change that old username to my current rick_@rogers.com email address? That way, when some sort of verification is required, it will be possible to get it to me. There may also be some overlapping issues resulting in more that one account. Or maybe it is just that I don't understand all the different sign-in pages with Microsoft. Sometimes, I can sign in with my current phone number and/or email address for some Microsoft stuff which is confusing for us old folk.In the meantime, please cancel the 30 day 365 registration. I am on my account again and almost finished the full transition process with the dozen or so registrations that I discovered needed updating. Each would reveal itself the first time I launched that application.Your help with the change of 365 credentials and figuring out if I have multiple accounts causing confusion during the login with multiple things Microsoft and cancelling the new 30-day, 365 trial would be good.Have a wonderful weekend.Rick McArthur

cancel microsoft 365 and request refund of charge that went through my credit card Jan. 24th
