I understand your concern, but I am sorry to convey that it’s not possible to do check-in and check-out in the SharePoint Mobile applications.

I agree with you having ability to check-in and check-out the documents via SharePoint Mobile apps will benefit the users and request you to add your valuable idea as feedback in the SharePoint · Community (microsoft.com) which is the best place to share our ideas and improve the Microsoft products.
