This suddenly popped out of a device. What does this mean? What should we do?
"mddprov account has removed your workplace account and deleted all of the information associated with your workplace account (including business apps, password requirements, and other policies) from your device."
Have checked the Settings > Accounts and the account is still connected to that same device.

Thank you. I've had a couple of users report the same issue today with no changes being made to their account. Looks like it's all happening just today.
That's interesting and seems to imply some kind of on-prem aspect to this in your case, since GPupdate had relevance. I wouldn't have expected that given what it is. On the system I'm looking at, which is not one joined to a local Active Directory, the DeviceManagement log has a cadence of every 24 hours, as in every 24 hours (I assume) it tries to phone home to Microsoft AAD relative to this feature. If the problem continues, I would expect to see it again tonight.
I can't view that link "You don't have permissions" and don't see it in Service Health Advisories. Do you know where or how I can view it?
