This suddenly popped out of a device. What does this mean? What should we do?
"mddprov account has removed your workplace account and deleted all of the information associated with your workplace account (including business apps, password requirements, and other policies) from your device."
Have checked the Settings > Accounts and the account is still connected to that same device.

You are correct in your assumption. Additionally, if one has skipped Windows Hello this error can occur.
